Is there a way to see the "changelog" of each firmware update?

Hi,

I've noticed that there are sub-versions that are released also (not all via OTA)... for example i saw the versions:

03/2022.57
03/2022.65

I'm very interested to know if somewhere i could check which have been the improvements / bug resolution of each minor release (57 or 65).

In case that's not possible, can we at least get the list of changes for major versions? XX/2021 to YY/2022 etc?

IIRC only techs have access to this info, guessing via a TSB or something. Your local service department might be able to help.

The only thing I noticed from 2021 to the 3/2022. version is that the M240i logo shows in the dash and M performance font.

I have 3/2022.65 and didn't notice anything else besides that.

Thanks for your response Burkhacs!!

Let's see if someone with access can get us that info, it's always interesting to know what updates/corrections bring the thing they are installing you each time you go to the servicing... and they typically don't say anything on that, they just update and that's all....

As software engineer, I prefer to know the changes if possible...hehehe

Yeah 99.9% of their customer base doesn’t even know computers control their cars. All that matters is it gets them from point A to B and they look good doing it.

Hell I wouldn’t be surprised if the techs don’t even get a change log. I could see BMW saying if issue X happens apply software version Y and nothing more than that.

I agree that a change log would be nice but don’t think we will ever see one.
