SIRIUSXM
Is anybody else having a problem with the streaming channels - those above 470 - in their car (like 710, The Loft)? Mine stopped working. I only can get the satellite channels. I have reached out to SIRIUSXM and the case has been 'bumped up' with an expected call back in up to 7-10 days.
My concern is that is has something to do with the hardware/chip in the audio system (HK). |

Thanks. Yes that has been verified. The issue has been upgraded to their top tech support but will take several days for them to get back to me. Just want to make sure there isn't an issue with the equipment

Is this still the case?
Did you have these channels previous to the weekend? I have had these channels available since I took delivery of the car in December '21, with one brief period in February (?) when I had the same problem. I contacted SIRIUSXM at that time, and the tech said they were aware of the problem and working on it. Channels came back within 1-2 days. |

Same for me! Then off again, and then on.
Do you also have an iphone/Apple Carplay? I have noticed in the past week (same timeframe as with with SXM issue) that Waze comes on in the background, even when I am not using CarPlay, and I can't get it to stop. I am wondering if the issue with SXM involves Carplay. |

After raising this issue with BMW 'central', they contacted the dealership and I was scheduled for a service to investigate. Turns out this was a software issue. A fault was determined, software was updated - for both Connected Drive and overall (so the 2 could talk to each other), and all is good.
