Exclamation MHD Burble tune not working??

Hoping someone can help me out, Ive got a FBO 07 e92 flashed w MHD. Until about a month ago I was flashed on stg0 with catted DP"s and chopped up stock exhaust ("greasy straight pipe"). The car banged hard between gears and very very hard on decel starting at about 3k RPM's. After doing the full VRSF race setup from the turbos back I expected to bang alot harder since there's nothing in the exhaust to stop it. After flashing MHD stg2 with the same burble settings as before the car hardly makes any burble noise. The best way to explain it is, it sounds like they're popping in the mid pipe instead of traveling the whole exhaust. I'm getting pretty frustrated because i love the loud gunshots and bangs when I'm out cruising. Hoping someone has had the same problem and can help me resolve. Thanks in advance!!!!

you should be thankful, your turbos will last a lot longer.

Turbo damage may be a myth but it'll certainly damage your spark plugs and make you sound like an idiot.

Now see this is the first time I read it causing an issue to spark plugs. Every time the topic comes up I read a new issue for a new component.

By damage I assume you mean just more wear on them? Never had issues but I guess I replace my plugs more often.

To me it doesn't make you sound like an idiot. A lot of people enjoy that and I am one of those. Of course I'm not talking gunshots 24/7 but a reasonable bang on downshift sounds pretty sweet. Even some stock cars do so.

Maybe cruise some of the sections of Detroit, or Chicago, or maybe even your own sketchy parts of town?

Also I thought the pops and bangs were done. This forum tends to lean more conservative for car mods and more about maintenance and repair. We miight not be the tik tok burble crowd.

Yah so back to the OG question, Why isn't my car banging? I understand not everyone is a fan of the pops and bangs but some of us are. The cool thing about cars is, we can drive the same car. mine can pop and bang and yours doesn't have to. trying to keep the thread informational for other folks with the same problem as me. No need to come in and bag a guys preference on the sounds his car makes. I'm just looking for some advice, Thanks!

Probably post over in the N54 subforum would get more attention than the general forum. Or Facebook N54tech or some of the other 335 pages are more pops and bangs.

Hey did you ever figure out the problem ? I'm experiencing the same thing. My n54 has catless dps, res + muffler delete and I flashed stage 0 with burble options and it sounded like gunshots. Then I added intercooler then went stage 2+ and the burbles were never the same. Went from sounding like loud gunshots to quiet few burbles. Car has no codes and pulls hard. Also noticed on idle it doesn't have a deep tone like a fbo n54 should. It sounds more like it's blowing air out the exhaust. Someone please help me out.. been tryna figure it out for over a year.

I like (and have) those splitters. It's everything else in the video that hurts my brain.
