Does "M240i" display at top of cluster?

My M340 displays the model graphic at the top of the virtual cockpit. Does the M240 do the same? Seems alot of vids I see do not have the graphic.

It does not.

I’m fine with this, it’s just extra visual clutter. It’s not like I forgot what car I own

I think it can be coded in fairly easily if anyone really wants it.

It does on mine but I do not have the pro. But it is also overwritten when navigation is enabled.

That is odd that it is missing. It's the same cluster as in the M340i somI wonder why they chose not to display it. The non-pro clusters seem to display it.
I think I noticed it was missing because I have been looking at my cluster for 3 years and I am just used to seeing it.

I definitely agree it’s odd. Thankfully of all the things for them to pointlessly fiddle with it’s pretty harmless. Give it a couple weeks and you won’t even notice it.

I also noticed that on my M340i, the font of the digits are the “M” variant. Sports mode will have a very small M colors design. On M240i, the font is the normal BMW font, and no M colors in Sports mode. Maybe it will be updated in a future software release?

Thanks to an IG friend. The next version of the software will include the M style dash.

My car was with the dealer this week for a transmission problem and had the software upgraded. I now have "M240i" along the top and the M colour dashes next to the speed limit
