Launch Control in 1st or 2nd?

the BMW M how to official video only says dsc off, sports plus, s3 transmission.
a lot of other YouTubers said u have to do it in 2nd gear.

I tried both and they all works. although 1st gear launch is extremely hard to get traction.

So Launch Control activated for you even when you we're in 1st gear?

yep

everything in the most sporty setting, dsc off, manual mode, both peddle all the way down. the trans will shift automatically

I know when I did my video on LC, I looked it up in the manual and it tells you to do it in 2nd gear.
