Stock M4C dyno: 491whp/456wtq

Got the car on the dyno today.

Pulls done in 5th gear, instead of the ideal 6th gear (1:1) due to the 155mph speed limiter. 6th gear would have yielded slightly higher numbers but I'm happy with the result.

491whp / 456wtq (STD)

Edit: previously uploaded SAE correction factor, shop re-sent results with STD which is most commonly used

Are you sure the car would hit the limiter in dyno mode?

I didn't actually tried it, but that's what was reported by others that have dyno'd. 5th gear went up to 135mph if I remember correctly so 6th would have exceeded 155mph for sure.
Now, wether dyno mode actually lets you go over that might be a different story but I don't think so.

I would have loved to see the numbers in dyno mode using 6th. The 6MT cars are showing nearly crank numbers on the dyno, I’m sure yours would have posted even higher.

Updated post. Pretty close to crank numbers already in 5th gear

Thanks for this, my ass tells me the same when I drive my G80 Comp- this mother fucker is faster than 503 crank.

559 to the crank is crazy numbers. (12% driveline loss) BMW has always drastically underrated HP, but they have reached a new high! Again, under promise and over deliver is a sound marketing strategy.

when you open the sports display(shows HP and torque) it shows up as 560 hp! Coincidence? I noticed something similar with my F82 as well.

It will hit the limiter. When I dyno'd my car we tried 6th gear and it would not go past 155mph.
