De programming lost Key Fob

I did a search and didn't find the infor I need. Anyone able to DIY to deprograme the lost key fob from the car? Dealer wants to charge me an hour plus the key fob and the metal blade and I have read only take them a couple minutes to deactivate the missing key.

Thanks.

Its more a case of reprogramming the new fobs and car rather than deprogramming the lost key fob. Either way I doubt there is a DIY for this for obvious reasons.
