With all the M2C's delivered, can someone please post a video so we can hear the exhaust under load, etc. Maybe I'm just missing the thread but I have yet to see a good one... dyin' here (say it with a New Jersey accent)...

for me its ok in revs.. but idle is horrible! i cant imagine the amount of "is it broken" questions.

I guess EU spec car is warmed up here and that's why there is no annoying sound. Otherwise EU spec with OPF sounds better to me

The dealer video is a cold start. In fact, it sounds so similar to the cold start idle of the 1M!

I still think the US cars are a little louder than the EU spec. Time will tell — and I am 100% getting rid of the secondary cats as soon as I have the chance.

Second video sounds like the car is here in south africa, judging from them speaking in afrikaans. Second video sounds much better

Agree. But isn't the first one (dealer / black) car the US spec and the second car (HS) EU spec?

I assume that US spec should sound much better without OPF. But from what i can see/hear i prefer the EU spec.

I think I'm going to hold judgement until I'm behind the wheel and pray the aftermarket can provide a solution as needed...doesn't sound like the M performance exhaust will be available by the time I have to final my order in October anyway.

The S55 sounds better when it’s warm - just one thing to think about when you’re comparing.

I don't regret it at all, I just think the sound could be better. I have about 200 miles on her; I'm hoping the exhaust will sound a bit better once she is broken in and I get the tune. For reference, my OG m2 had the Hex tune and the MP exhaust, which sounded mean as hell. There was also a rasp at around 5-6k rpm that I thought sounded amazing.

Overall, it's a much more scalable platform so I feel like I made the right choice.

Best part is during the cold start when she comments "sounds amazing". You know what else would sound amazing? You shutting the F up.

Badass engine that sounds like crap - oh well ...can’t have everyhing. I just hope someone comes up with a solution by the time I get mine
