how much longer is the current 2 series expected to be produced?
worried if I cancel my deposit, that this is going to be a short run and I'm gonna miss out.

You won't miss out but you will have to wait bit.

My guess around 2 year production. EOP somewhere around the M4 11/2020 EOP. Simply because I don't see BMW continuing production of the S55 just for one low volume car. Would put the F87 at a 6 year run, 11/2014 to 11/2020. But I could be wrong, pure speculation.

Guessing that was a typo and you meant 11/2015 as start of production, which would make it a 5 year run.

Typically a BMW model has a 7 year life cycle. including an LCI (life cycle impulse) (facelift)
It seems like BMW might be drifting away from that, we are seeing this with the X5. but since the 2 series was introduced in 2014 I can say a max of 2021 with a possibility of of late 2019 (highly doubt) |
