E92 - REAR legroom
I am thinking about getting an E92, 2008 328i.
Can anyone please shine some light on the rear legroom. Can a teenager comfortably sit there for at LEAST short distances? Thanks very much in advance, your help is greatly appreciated. |

I made a drive in my sister's 128i from LA to San Diego with 2 fairly tall teens in the back (one being about 6 feet tall). They could put their legs down but they were scrunched up. The 328i should give you slightly more room. Out of courtesy, move your seat up a little and you should be fine. |

It's not bad at all for people of the smaller persuasion. Let's not kid ourselves, 2 6' adults, it might be ok if you're going out to lunch at work and they don't mind being crushed for 10 min. getting their, or maybe you ask someone 5' tall to drive so there is more room behind the seat...

The worst part is people always rushing in and not allowing the seat to move up all the way forward to give access, rubbing up against the b pillar and adjacent leather.
Always have to tell anyone getting in the back seat, "relax, wait for the seat to finish moving up, and when you're in don't move and don't touch anything" Last edited by Wolf 335; 01-05-2018 at 07:15 AM.. |

As others have said on the E92 it's not easy to get in the back and ther's not a lot of room for full size adults. Kids would be ok though.

Plenty of space! I am 6'2" and like to sit way back when I drive and even then I can still fit in my rear seat without rubbing my knees into something. Other story if you're fat, don't be fat

If you have a runt driving, there will be LOTS of rear legroom. Now if a Pro Basketball player is driving...............

I'm 6'3 and fit comfortably in the back. The only annoyance is getting in and out of the backseat.
