sport mode question

So thanks to the DIY here I fixed the shifter wires and now have DS in the cluster.

Question is, what does it do for me?
2008 328XI touring AT with the sport package and flappy paddles.
Does this mean it changes the steering response as well since I have the sport module?
the internets has just confused me.

In my 335i, the only difference I see in DS mode is that the transmission revs at a higher RPM before actually shifting. Steering feels the same.

nothing, but who's too say that I even notice anything other than the shift points until it's 100+ mph or something?

no one seems to be able to say what the xi touring sport mode gets, since it doesn't have the sports suspension.

If you don't like my question, kindly go f yourself champ, no one made you click reply and type snarkiness.

It gets nothing. Rear wheel drive gets you the actual sports suspension. There is 0 difference when driving in DS with the sports suspension and without, in the E9x cars (NON-M).

The F series cars have an actual SPORTS mode button which tightens the suspension besides giving you the higher revs.

I remember being very disappointed when I found out that the "sport package" in xDrive cars is basically seats and wheels my 330i is totally stock and makes factory xDrive E90's look like monster trucks.

I do like the seat hugs.

the flappy paddles are fun, but fairly useless as an actual performance thing in a 328 touring that's the heaviest possible package with 230HP.

Before the 335 I had an 07 328 and I installed an H&R Touring cup kit, so that bastard was low (NOT ricer low). So going to the E92 335xi it felt like driving a pick up. Although the E92 seems to be a bit lower than the E90xi. I got over it, the front rake look is the only annoying part but the car looks great so I don't sweat it.
