Traction and brake warning light

Hi folks. When I was changing my front strut mount I disconnected the front speed sensor wire to get clear access. Then I disconnected the battery to remove the airbag and grease the steering shaft as was squeeking. The squeeking has gone and the front end noise has gone but nownInam left with 2 new problems. The traction light remains on and the handbrake warning light stays on yellow too. Is this due to the disconnection of the sensor or the battery being disconnected? Oh and the indicators don't self cancel either. Help!
