I am considering to change wheels on my 2006 Touring, At the moment I've got 19's , But dont really like the ride it's too hard.

I was considering some wide 18's ... I do like Aggressive Look..

What about 17's has anyone got any 17 inch aftermarket wheels on there cars, Idf so do u mind sharing pics..

Thanks.

I have OEM 17" wheels, most are 17x8, ET 34, using 225/45 R17 tires. I am thinking about going with Apex ARC-8 17x9 wheels using either the 245/40 R17 slighter smaller diameter tires that Apex recommends or the 255/40 R17 tire that is closer, but slightly larger, than the OEM tire diameter.

These Apex wheels weigh 16.5 pounds and non run flat weigh 22 pounds each, or 41 pounds total less than what OEM wheels and run flats weigh. Get a mobility kit and go with non-run flats.

I run the the 17 inch Apex Arc-8 with the 245/40 and its perfect on a x-drive touring. If you really want comfort though, maybe increase the aspect ratio of the sidewall by 5% so 245/45, but ask the tire experts here if that will creating any rubbing issues.
