Warranty fix, bring it in to your SA. He will order you a new fob assembly. In my case, he let me keep my roundel-less fob so I have a total of 3 fobs now.

Not sure if you can find a replacement part for it. Maybe the sticker companies that make the carbon fiber stickers may have something that can cover it.

Your factory standard warranty is 4 years, 50k.

i would try asking for a replacement anyway, who knows your SA might be having a good day and do it for ya since it's a known problem. I got both of my key fobs replaced no problem...of course I still have my warranty.

Mine fell off to, but I am leaving it that way. If it is ever lost or stolen it is unlikely anyone would know it is from a BMW.

This happened to my mom's 2006 330i (E90) fob. Luckily, I found the roundel in her purse; whipped up some 30-min epoxy, and reattached it (you only need a drop or so). It's still attached several months later.

took it to the dealer to get a replacement... SA said don't believe everything you see on the internet, like if i was some idiot. He wouldn't replace my key fob.

ASSAEL BMW by the way. I would not purchase by next bmw from there. Overall service so far has been 4 out of 10. That is being generous.
