Connected Drive not working
Hi
I need some input from my Canadian friends here.. i bought my 2014 328GT less than a year ago... i have the navigation package but did not subscribe to the RTTI or BMW online package. I later discover a need and therefore subscride to RTTI and BMW online by contacting my dealer...after which i got RTTI , BMW online etc.. all working... now for the past 4 months... both RTTI and BMW online is acting up.. sometines i have connection sometimes i don't... a quick call to BMW assist tells me i am not subscribed... as a matter of fact if i dont have any connection going in the menu "ConnectedDrive", i will have Roadside assistance, BMW online, customer relations, service request all listed ... but when clicking further in any it will not work... eithwr it says no connection or contract expired. i thought we canadians have 4 years free of roaside assistance and it should work..But again in the odd days where i got rtti and bmw online to work (without doing anything special)... all items work. Now BMW assist tells me none of this should work if i am not subscribed to any package.. i asked even for roadside assistance.. they said it will only work through the SOS button but not on the nav. I am asking anyone who have not subscribe to any BMW online , RTTI to chime in if what i get as a response is correct.. cause if this is the case my dealer has fail to subscibe me to the package even i told them..cause right now BMW assist is pushing to the dealer and the dealer is pushing to BMW assist. both part saying it is their problem. sorry for the long post... but i have been trying to get this resolve for 3 months.. sometimes i get what i should get .. sometimes i dont .. really unpredictable. .. neither do i know that the system is down or aomething ( at time of writing this there is no rtti) Thanks in advance |
