Steering problems

Was driving up a few mountains and got throw to the side lightly, pulled out and the steering at standstill is pretty much locked impossible to move, as soon as you get going it gets lighter and almost back to normal unless you turn it sharply, and overall it feels more wobbly. Any ideas on what it could be? Bad power steering pump? Thanks
EDIT: Its a bad power steering pump. Going to get an estimate to see how much it will cost. N55 btw.

Did you look in the fluid reservoir to check the status? Full, foaming, bubbles

About $1400 on ECS Tuning site. May be able to find cheaper elsewhere. If it were me I'd be figuring out how to DIY this if possible. The dealership will surely bend you over to get this repair done.

Edit: here's the diy from newtis. Doesn't really look bad... https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...upply/CvOcCLwg

Thats a surprise so far I have found ones much cheaper. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Power-Steer...W%7CModel%3AX5 I am guessing the one I found is the wrong one. The labor cost doesn't worry me as much as the part. $1400 is pretty steep for a pump.

I just pulled the part number off Real OEM. I'm sure you can find one cheaper than $1400 but that's just the first one I found on a quick Google search for the S63 motor. There's three different part numbers and I searched the newest one.

Gotcha. For some reason I had it in my head you had an M. In that case I'm guessing you should find a pump much cheaper 👍🏼

$575 and two days and the car is done! Wasn't as bad as anticipated.
