BMW X5 E70 Error Code P0019

Would you please help to solve this issue in my car

my BMW X5 2009 has Low Oil Pressure warning in the dashboard, the RPM is not stable and fluctuating, also the motor performance is significantly degraded.

I flushed the OIL however this issue not solved.
I did online research and some threads mentioned something about changing the crankshaft sensor, I'm not sure if this will fix the issue?

I did an OBD scan I got the below error code:

Im not sure if the oil pressure light is related to the codes, but since your codes tell you the camshaft sensor is faulty I would get that fixed 1st. A failing sensor will absolutely mess with performance of the engine.

Thank you for your reply
I did find some factory manual troubleshooting suggestions:

P0019
Exhaust camshaft 2, tooth offset to crankshaft
Possible causes:
- Cam sensor
- Solenoid valve
- Timing
- VANOS servo unit
- Timing chain

Please help me to understand...
Sensors seem to have a much higher failure rate then the physical parameter that the sensor are supposed to monitor... So why not simply remove sensors?
Every time a got a check engine light, they replace a sensor but not the thing that could cause the real issue.
