Anyone upgrade the angel eye ring bulbs and had a good result?
Would love to replace the angel eye bulbs with something a little closer to white, replacing the stock amber, since all of my interior and exterior bulbs are going white LED. A friend of mine replaced his, but the inner and outer rings are SIGNIFICANTLY different brightness now. Would like to avoid that if possible and obviously avoid any error messages on the cluster if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I wanted white on my wife’s 2008 E70. I tried several from $10-$70 and they were all garbage. Finally paid the $$$ for LUX and was satisfied. That was like 3-4 years ago so I imagine they are even better now.

+1 for LUX
The brightness thing is just the design of the rings. One bulb to power both. No way to change that really. |
