Squealing noise when braking/turning Left ONLY with heater on

My wives 2011 X5 35d make a strange soft squealing sound ONLY while turning left/braking and ONLY when the heater is running.

I read that it may be the blower motor for the climate control fan, which makes sense, but only found one thread on bimmerfest that mentioned it. I want some additional proof before I start throwing parts at it.

Has anyone experienced this?

Common issue on various bmws in my experience. Have it on my m3, and my dads 5 series. Hasn't happened to my x yet, but I'm sure it will eventually. If you look this issue up on either of those cars you'll find plenty of people bringing it up.

Two possible causes as far as I know. One is the filter materiel falls apart and let's debris into the blower fan (this is the case on my dads car). The other I've read is condensation will drip onto the blower fan and cause rust which eventually causes the squealing.
