Absolutely no issues here and i have to go over 10 speed bumps on the way home and on the way to work every day. Car feels solid.

Probably. I had the exact same thing happen. I will post pics if I get a chance soon.

I found that my bags were fine and I had just needed to correctly calibrate the links as I thought the shop that installed my kit did...(they told me they did)... they were quite off. At 67mm, it sits perfect and the ride is pretty close to stock, except over potholes and larger bumps. I still need to replace the rear bumpstops though. I'm lowered on the H&R 2" kit btw.

I've got H&R2.0 on and the ride sucks.
Normal driving is fine with no bumps and flat road and handling is great. Any minor bumps at speed (50+) are spine shattering. I took a major transition from tarmac to bridge the other day at 70+ and it literally felt like my car got air it bounced so hard off the frame. While it looks awesome, the ride is severely compromised. I'm immediately looking for a coilover solution. I love the look but I cannot stand the ride- and this is coming from someone who had race suspension and solid mounts in prior platforms. It's downright dangerous hitting major transitions in the road now. Be warned. |

Yeah no caliper measurements here...I did center to center at 67 on the links but the fender height was too high in rear. Ended up dropping it 2 more rotations to get ground to fender lip all equal. I don't like the jawknee look with the rear raised higher than front.
Also on stock e70 bumpstops so I'm sure those are hitting. |

Sounds like a lot of you guys need to adjust the rear higher with links or have blown rear shocks. At least with 1.2” H&R lowering springs, the ride is barely different on my old 2007 struts.

I think its a combo of ride height, rear bags life and mileage on rear shocks plus lack of F10 M5 Bumpstops.....

Just picked up a 2012 X5M, will the H&R 1.2 and 31337847472 M5 bump stops fit my vehicle? I want to address wheel gap without sacrificing ride quality but I saw a note on the springs set about "For vehicles without self leveling suspension"

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-h-and-r-...g-set/50435-4/ Bump stops, order 4 (F10 M5 Comp): https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...f/31337847472/ and if you are on stock 20" wheels i recommend 15/20mm spacers. the 2.0" kit is too harsh and bouncy but if your fine with that its here: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-h-and-r-...et/50435-2~hr/

They come with the kit bud. Make sure you install the bumpstops on all four corners of the car and not just the front. Order 4.
