The exhaust tips look great! We were going to get a '13 X5M in the same color combo but the out of state dealer was a pain. We ended up with Carbon Black over Silverstone.

Awesome, congrats! The SS interior is very much underrated. Never liked them in previous cars that I owned but suits the E70 very well.

Thanks! Picked up the ECS kit since they come with the extended bolts appropriate for the spacer. Just ensure that they're the matching hub diameter for the fronts and rears.

Thanks! There is the MGruppe on Fb if you haven't joined. They host a quarterly meet at BMW West with family activities and giveaways.

I never paid that close attention, but are they deleted on the M because the air duct openings in the bumper are SO FREAKIN HUGE?

Ummm... that's the stock setup. Much needed for all the radiators strapped to the front end.

Haha, apologies but you're referring to someone else under a similar handle. Thanks for your kind words though! Glad to join the group.

Very nice truck! Thanks for sharing. Please try and get some before and after pics and post impressions of the ride quality after the install. Not much feedback on the Dinan lowering springs and bumpstops.

Thanks, that's the plan. I fear that the stock runflats aren't going to help me get a true feeling of the improvement. That only means more $helling out in the future for wheels

The Dinan springs are on my list. Looking forward to hearing your impressions.

It seems that many people completely swap out the the suspension for coilovers. Though I would like to keep the EDC. In matter of fact I've been searching for a place that can have the shocks rebuild when they wear out.

Dinan springs on my list as well. I've read that the H&R's (even the 1.2" drop) look great, but the ride suffers. The drop on the Dinan springs is less, but if it improves handling and the ride still stays good, I guess that's the best option sans full coilovers.

What about the safety check that makes it a risk? Don't think that they do much by the way of dropping the car.

agreed and I'm hoping it does just that. Won't be able to install them for a week at least but looking forward to it.

Included the pics as requested. The bump stops themselves are around 1.25" thick although they're a tough compressible material. The black housing is just housing and provides no structural function. I also want to retain the EDC function for passenger comfort and was not too much concerned about dropping the car. I'm more in for this to rid the brake dive and body roll and to simply improve the responsiveness that the car seems to lack. Maybe I'm preferential biased because I had the non-adaptive setup on the F80 which provided the right balance of stiffness and comfort for daily driving and performance.

Thanks for the measurements! I might end up cutting mine to match when I get them. The drop shouldn't be dramatic but any change to your suspension in Hawaii requires reconstruction inspection every year which has to be scheduled far in advance and then you have to get an alignment within 30 days before hand. I'm eager to see your drop and if it's too noticeable I might wait until after my next inspection.
