Parting Out From Major Mechanical Repairs

Hello all, I am BMW lifer and owner of the iconic X6M E71. This car is a keeper for me and I understand parts can be a *********.

So what I am offering is parts from my repairs.

Parts still have service life as throwing them away I felt is a disservice to my self and passion for cars but also it's a testament to my character. I love to help and look out.

As of now I can say what parts all be available and you guys can claim them so when I get them back it can be a speedy transition.

I'm sure I can help someone somewhere.

Now let me explain what will be available.
Please, help me fill the voids and make this 100% beneficial for me and the community.

I am doing the Valve Stem Seal repair as a result I am getting new:

Coil Packs
Fuel injectors (index 12)
Crank case lines
Engine cover
Intake Silencer "box"

I am also upgrading my suspension where I am repairing and replacing my whole system.

I just want to help the community. I will be parting out from these areas of the car.

Any other questions PM me.

At least I have suspension parts, coil packs and fuel injectors.

I have some that are index 12 from the recall on our engines.

So reply and let's get this thread going.

I have a 2016 X6M in need of at least one air shock. Recommend replacing both, willing to purchase as a pair if available and operable. Compressor works although replacement was also recommended.

Honesty, with a part like that. You should do a remove and replace with BOTH air springs.

Treat them like batteries or control arms. You replace one, you replace all.

Balance and agility is key. With no proper suspension we just bloated cars.

Be careful driving in sport mode on the stiffest suspension on uneven roads.

BMW says you should have it on (EDC) when the roads are most craziest.

IMHO it puts more load on the suspension to "fight" those bumps. Ease the resistance and drive slow homie.

Around a quart at 3,000 miles. At least 1 quart between oil changes at BMW Dealership.

In town driving, not beating the car in Florida climate
