Agreed, but they are T30.

T27 fits but you'll strip the head when you go to torque it.

Thanks for the detailed write up!

Do you thinks it's possible to replace the oil return lines using these steps and without removing the alternator?

depends on if its clogged or not, smart to take it off and check.
for the N63 you have to remove the alternator, for the S63, it doesn't say it in the TIS (attached)

There is a heat shield sandwiched between the bottom of the alternator and the top of the oil return cover. Two bolts of that shield sit under the alternator. I didn’t think to try and bend that heat shield out of rhe way, so not sure if that’s an option. If it doesn’t bend enough, then the alternator has to come out to remove the oil return plate.
