Best 10.25" Android Screen BMW to buy?

Hi all,

Its been a while. Can anyone help me and give me some feedback on the best company to order an Android screen for my 2013 X5? I am ready for a new look. My wife just got a 2018 A4 and it is nice. I have seen 4x4 Shop Canada videos and they look nice and helpful. Are there any other ones to looks at? Newer models or issues with these? I saw one had a microphone issue or sound was too low. Thanks for any feed back.

I think people have had the best luck with the unichip units...I'm considering one myself.

I'm interested too, but I'm concerned about the audio. As far as I know these all use the aux analog jack which is not ideal

That’s the reason I didn’t go for any of these. I don’t want to sacrifice the audio quality

for this reason i have tested iphone connected to aux input vs mp3 on the usb stick.. very very small difference.. i did not like the fact that for unichip this is the only way to play the music - via the phone..

noway! are you sure? I am not expert and tried to listen to a few songs switching back and forth between the two sources and at some point of time I thought iphone is doing a better job but then I have concluded the stock sounded better..
can you pls post the link to the thread you mention? I searched and quite a bit came back. but there is no chance something like AVIN would sound better than the stock system.

Trust me, it does and I'm an audiophile. I've bypassed all audio through the attached aux cable and now audio is processed through the DAC.

I got Android from Avin 2 years ago, I know many ppl don't like it but I was one of the first ppl to install it and still enjoy it by this day!

You can get same unit for much cheaper from Aliexpress as well!
