Yeah... They're gone. I prefer the stock 20's... Looks cleaner, lower and I was restricted on tire quality with them.

Shame you guys can't get the new Continental Contact Sport 6 there in the 295/335s 22" sizes, they are night and day over the Pirelli Scorpions. Way quieter, smoother ride and the grip just boggles the mind. Besides those Pirelli's look ugly as too IMO.

Im going to run the Extreme Contact's here in about a month. Great all season tire that rides nice, has good life and does well in both snow, rain and dry. I ran them on one of my CTSV's that I was daily driving and was very happy with it.

So the story on the tips... I did a muffler delete which I thought I would love. It was so loud that a day later I went back to the muffler shop and reversed it. I had done a muffler delete on an e90 and it sounded PERFECT. Not so much on the x5. The tips are 4" inch and the muffler shop had them in stock and in my opinion looked the best. They weren't that difficult to install, they are welded onto the original pipe. I think that size completes the rear. The original tips look so flimsy and small... |
