X6 Black Saphire - Black Wheels
hey guys,
I am ordering a new X6, and looking at getting a black one.. Question is re the wheels.. I am looking to get the Y214 black, but wondering if it will not be too dark.. Any pics of a black X6 with black wheels?? |

Have the same question. I ordered with standard 20" Y-spoke. But curious about the potential batmobile aesthetic. My dealer said they were not an option to replace the standard 20" is he wrong?

Black Sapphire.....not black wheels.....but i like the contrast better....too much black makes the wheels disappear...

Check out my pics, I love the all black (including mesh grills and hood grills). Mine are the 21" BMW wheel.

I'm going through the same dilemma. At the moment I'm leaning toward lighter polished wheel versus black on black. Like the other member, I'm feeling I'll spend a lot on wheels that no one will see.
However, I'm concerned about wheel gap. Does anyone know which reduces wheel gap more: black or polished wheels? |

I love my black wheels but the same thoughts ran through my head so I kept the originals and was lucky enough to score X5/6M wheels that I had painted semi gloss. High gloss was too shiny and I'm not a mat black fan.

Check my garage pics, I did paint my wheels in semi gloss black (powder coat), I also painted the front grill and window trim, I love the results

You said you had your rims painted? I'm assuming you took them to a paint shop. Were they powder coated?
