Took delivery of my X5 40d a week ago. As we left the dealership it started to rain.. for the next few days. So finally after some sunshine creeped up, I set about washing it.

Excuse the quality, they were taken with an iphone.

Indeed! ...or an M3 for about half what it costs in Deutschland! Kind of crazy; I'm not complaining. : )

Really nice. Those are the same wheels I pickedup for my wife's diesel. They should be on in the coming weeks.

very nice, congratulations i preferred your wheels when i ordered my car but the option was not available. Are your roof rails standard SE spec in Australia? as they are only available on the M-Sport in the UK.

I did not manage to get my 'own preferred options' cause the dealer was giving me a decent price on a shipment of X5's that were on the way.
So the best option they was a Nappa Beige and aluminium trim.

I'm thinking maybe the Aero kit and the blacked out grills? Would the DTUK box void warranty?

The roof rails are standard on the 40d Sport.

The one I have is 40d Sport Innovations.

I understand your point.
I really got screwed up configuring X5 D 35 US version as entire packages etc are totally different. Thus I skipped Prem sound , RV Camera, and also Sports package and M sports body kit and Exhaust tips available in 35i SA package.

It is so good that you could get 40D and with SA version

Craziest shit is that they are all made on the same assembly line - one right after the other. When I toured the plant, it's amazing to see all the options that aren't available in certain markets all there; staring you right in the face!
