Great pix and thread! I have to ask: Regarding the power dome hood, did you have to (paint) blend the fenders to match or did you just drop it in after painting?

I appreciate it!
as far as PowerDome hood goes, I ordered it from (bmw parts reseller online, out of state) and asked them to paint it for me, this way I ended up paying better price which included hood, hood insulation, paint, delivery and few other smaller pieces I needed for installation. So to answer your question I didn't do the blending with the fenders and maybe at the beginning it was somewhat noticeable (hardly) but now little over a year later you can not tell the difference at all! hope this helps!

few days ago I showed new carbon fiber mirror covers I installed (stick on), so 4 days later I ended up removing them. I had no issues with carbon fiber material or the way they made but I didn't like the fit from the beginning (some gaps). On the day after the install the double sided tape provided by the seller started disintegrating as well so the corners started to come off.
After unsuccessful tries to fix it I ended up damaging the covers even more (some small and some not so small scratches) I ended up contacting seller and they might be sending me new set (not sure at this point) if they do I'll try to be smarter installing them next time around (better tape etc.,) so not to get too upset with covers I installed door locks covers (I think they look pretty good for $4)

it helps to keep mods going without putting down $1000s at ones, I do enjoy new wheels, exhaust etc., but for some reason little things gives as much joy for much less money
