Changed water pump but get 2e84 code?

I changed the water pump and thermo but I still get the 2e84 code. I tried doing the bleed procedure with holding down the gas pedal etc etc and it doesnt turn on. Also, when the vehicle is on, there is no coolant being squirted right at the fill hole in the reservoir.

Ive seen on e90s that there is like 3 fuses for the water pump. But I dont see any for e70.

Its a 2008 x5 with the n52.

So in case somebody comes across this, the water pump connector was never in all the way. I didnt notice it wasnt all the way in until i saw the connector from another point of view. The coolant hose clamp was blocking the connector from going all the way in. So i rotated the clamp to somewhere it wouldnt block the connector and it works now. The bleeding procedure starts and everything works. Hopefully this helps somebody.
