"The BMW Performance power kit for the BMW X6 50i further enhances the vehicle's already impressive performance. Specially developed engine electronics increase output from 300 to 330 kW, and boost maximum torque to 650 Nm – with no change in emissions over the regulatory test cycle. What's more, the maximum torque is available from just 2,000 rpm, which translates into better acceleration. Your BMW X6 now reaches 100 km/h from a standing start 0.2 seconds quicker, and is 0.5 seconds faster from 80 to 120 km/h (V8 engine in fifth gear). Also available for the BMW X6 35i. Get ready to redefine the limits of your BMW X6." Last edited by XBMW6; 08-26-2010 at 12:52 PM.. |

Just done installing the performance power kit. The X6 now definitely feels faster, but not X6M level. The throttle response is more aggressive and the added torque does indeed make the car pull harder even on higher rpm. As BMW stated, 100 km/h 0.2 seconds quicker. I would assume it's easier now to clock the X6 under 5.0 secs. Overall, it's worth it and more fun to drive

Maybe it would've looked more aggressive without the license plate bracket, but I had to install it because license plate is required by law here. Anyway, since all cars in promo pics come with license plates...so I guess it's a normal look.

Hi, How are you doing?
How good the performance tuning are with you? is there any problem in further? do you think it's worth to do it? Today i spoke with the agent , he told me the tuning is around 450KD .. I don't know if i would feel the difference if i do the tuning or not .. Did the exhaust sound be much louder with the tuning? I read in one of the blogs , that BMW maybe offering a sport exhaust system in the nearest future .. |

Guys...I would like to note that the kit would look best on lighter colors, especially from the rear and sides because it shows the body colored parts more clearly at night. Mine doesn't show as clearly because space gray tend to look darker in the evening.
