Tow Hitch Coding with Carly?

Just did an install for the tow hitch and wiring etc (lmao shit directions for the canbus wire (taped next to the taillight if anyone was looking for where it was) and wanted to code the car for it. Did a clean install on the aero kit

I just installed one too on my 2013 X5M, i couldn't find anything in carly to do it, let me know if you do find a way to or if it someone figures it out. Looked like there is a way to do it using an INPA cable and some software and going and updating some fields.

I don't think carly can do it. In fact, I think carly has largely forgotten this platform and is not doing anything new for these particular model years. This is just my opinion based on some of the emails I have sent asking for features.

Confirmed with Carly by email they don’t have this feature for coding currently, will probably find an indy coder to do so
