Coolant Expansion Tank - Lower Hose Retainer

So just pulled out my coolant expansion tank while waiting for the new one to be delivered and the horseshoe style retaining clip from the lower hose popped off and is nowhere to be found.

I'll keep looking and just blindly search with a magnet but wanted to see if anyone knows where I can buy a new clip without buying an entire hose just to take the clip off of it. Of course BMW only sells the entire hose but maybe someone knows of a vendor that sells these style retainer clips.

Edit: here is a photo of the style of clip. This is the upper hose that goes into the expansion tank.

You could try Ebay and pick up a used hose. I suspect a new one would have to be purchased with a new hose.

Just checked eBay about 20 minutes ago and there are no used hoses there.

Wondering if I can buy a new upper hose and take the clip off that one since it's like $40 compared to $160+. The lower hose seemed to be a bit larger diameter but couldn't confirm a measurement since it's too tight to fit a caliper.

Ended up measuring the outlets on the expansion tank itself and buying a new upper hose and taking the clip from there may work. The spot where the clip seats on the upper inlet is ~16mm and the spot where the clip seats on the lower outlet is ~17.4mm or so. Thinking that difference is pretty negligible as far as the clip goes.
