Thanks for the pics. I'm guessing it's for clearance but why does the drivers side (at the turbo inlet) do a swing and shift to the passengers side vs just being a mirror of the passenger side pipe?
Also, which filter above are you using...the black end cap or the red end cap? |

Per the specs on the BMC website, that filter is capable of 700hp...you're knocking on that door very soon, so I'd be worried if they'll suffice once you turn up the wick more via stage 3 tune, meth, upgraded turbos, etc. Are they special order because you need the inlet or the air filter to he ovaled? Unless they have an internal velocity stack, I'm missing their significance.
I'm going to contact local shops, so can I/we know the diameter of the piping where the filter connects and/or where it connects to the turbo inlet? |

Stock wheels are going back on unless we work something out. Also have a brand new set of candy apple red brembo's that are included unless you want to pay extra. If I don't have anyone jump on this I will part out all of the extras middle of this week. check out my build page in this forum for specifics but to name a few Carbon fiber hood,ultimate racing downpipes, VF engineering stage 2 tune, custom intake, custom exhaust, side markers painted to match body, blacked out badges, blacked out side markers, front license plate bracket, racing pedals, F85 grille and a ton I'm sure I'm forgetting. Dyno'd at 550tq and 505hp to the wheels. I'm selling b/c I just got sentenced to 23 months in federal prison. Originally I was going to just store it but now I think I'm going to sell and just get a new X5M when I get out. This is my baby and I don't want to get rid of it but I would rather it go to an enthusiast then go to auction via Carmax. Selling your X5M the way it is wont happen overnight because of the mods. Frankly I think you are better off taking the Carmax offer and parting out the extras.

I was really surprised but Carmax wanted all the extras on there and I got them to agree to let me keep the wheels and intake. I'm planning on getting the F85 when I get out so the Brembos and wheels will be the only thing I end up keeping if I go the Carmax route.
