Apparently sitting at right-angles is not the natural way to sit.
No wonder I always found barstools or ledges so comfortable, and dreaded low sofas or trying to sit on the ground.
Just raised my chair and feel so much better.

My kids always seem to slide off the front of chairs and my lap when I am sitting, and then scrambling to get back on. Their legs don't like being at right angles when sitting.

Yes! It seems natural... sometimes I feel like kneeling on the floor (which kills your kneecaps) because somehow it having your legs closer to the vertical feels so much better
