2023 m340i Dash material

Whats up guys. Quick question. What is the material of the dash? My dumbass smashed a little bug the other day and now I have a white spot. I wiped it with a wet microfiber and it did appear to work, but no. As soon as it dries, it reappears. Any suggestions? Thanks

Use a plastic or vinyl cleaner (depending if you have the injection moulded dash or sensatec dash).

Pretty much anything you put on the dash will strip the oils out of it and make it WORSE, so take great care with what you use to clean it.

My recommendation is Ammo Lather.

It's all essentially Sensatec unless you have a leather dash option. It really shouldn't need anything special but I have always used zymol Vinyl with great success after cleaning with something like diluted Woolite.

I do appreciate everyone's input. It's not the leather dash, so I'll give my poorboys natural look a shot. https://poorboysworld.com/natural-lo...-dressing.html

Even on modern leather you can use that product.

You are correct my friend. My 09 vette is still looking good after all these years.
Sidenote: Do not use Chemical's guys "new car" scent. No bueno

Just a quick update: I'm trying my best to keep the new car smell. I just past the one-year mark back in December and it still smells new. So I was kind of hesitant to use any cleaners. My wife suggested I use plain old dawn and a soft brush. Worked like a charm. No hard scrubbing. Just a tab of dawn and mild pressure. That's all it took. Give it shot.
