E70 LCI Aero Kit
Hey Guys,
There aren't too many posts here with the E70 LCI Aero Kits. Let's start a thread with LCI Aero!!! I was browsing through GetBMWParts and saw this beautiful E70 with what looks like BMW Style 375. ![]()

Did you order OEM hardware or are you using the hardware supplied? What was your paint quote by the way, or is Motorcepts taking care of it for you?
Mike

Finally got around to install the kit.
Before the pics. I just wanted to give my full opinion on this. There were no real instructions so a few things frustrating. First off, but you own clips!! The metal clips that it comes with are useless. The screws work fine but are not able to fit throw the thread created on these clips. If you purchase the this kit, you'll need about 12 metal clips. Luckily I had extra ones from my E60 so I was able to use it on this. Second, There is no PDC harness / holder on this. I was sitting there for 20 minutes trying to figure out what to do. I decided to just use some 3M double sided tape to attach it on and have it not move at all. Those are the two main things that really pissed me off. Once those were out of the way, everything was smooth sailing. Sort of. Since I didn't have instructions, I wasn't sure what to do. Luckily, someone on the forum was able to post pics and somewhat of a DIY. It helped a lot. The fitment is on point. You can see in the pics there are really no differences between the aftermarket one and the OEM one. (Aside from the two issues I had). If you have any questions or concerns, Please let me know. Enjoy! |

Nice! Time to get flares and wheels! I have some 215s for sale if interested.
I think I'll drop my car before I order the kit. Mike

Do you think you could cut a hole in the rear diffuser that would mate with the factory installed hitch? I'm very tempted to buy the OEM kit, but I have the tow package. I have a bike rack attached, but I never use it to tow, so I don't need access to the light plug.

Your car looks really good.. You just change my thoughts about aero kit.. Would you mind sharing more pictures (Like straight up from rear and front) and how much did the paint and install costs?

I need some of your advice's and assistance if possible. See i'm trying to buy the Aero kit as you have for E70 LCI. I want to know where did you buy bc there are many options on ebay and i'd like to know if the one for 260 USD will work. Also are there any instruction for installation? Hope for your response here's the link of the product: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-2013-BM...78d540&vxp=mtr |
