2012 X5 Angel Eye Bulb

I have an LCI and ordered some H8 bulbs to change out as I want yellow rings, however, it seems that most people modifying these have pre-lci or are doing their X5M.

Can you change out the bulb for the LCI X5 that have factory HIDs?

The LCI E70s with HIDs (xenons) don't use normal bulbs for halos. They use an "LED module", P/N 63117263051.

I don't know of any aftermarket replacements for the modules to get the yellow halos. It would be fairly easy to try some yellow film over the bulbs and see if that works. Not sure if that would last though.
