Cooling Fan stays on high

Hey All!

I have a 2009 E70 3.0. My fan runs on high when I start the car even when cold (and winter in Michigan) so I know it's not overheating. The fan runs for about 4 minutes while driving then shuts off. Then it comes on about 20 seconds later then runs for about 20 seconds and this cycle continues while I keep driving. Thoughts?

Probably the water pump going out. Have you scanned for codes?
