new e70 owner
Just wanna say hi, moved from e46(supercharged zhp got totalled), needed something bigger with baby on the way, been searching for couple months all over(I'm very picky picking my ride) and finally pulled the trigger on this beauty. Found it on this forum, had to fly from ny to il and drove it back...what a ride home
here it is: 08 4.8 bk bk 64k with pretty much all options but hud, with cpo till february so I can check and fix as much as I can. Previous owner did rear m sport bumper conversion, lci tails and painted all plastic parts. me so far: black kidneys, LUX, custom plates(can't stand NY yellow plates on my bimmers), and of course Valentine1. got a long list of mods but thats budget depending. here few phone pics I took so far...nothing you haven't seen but this one is special...this one is mine |

That is one pretty clean pre-lci X5. The rear M-Sport bumper and LCI tails looks really good.

Yeah...weird..car from Chicago came with front michelin tour hp all seasons and stock bridgestone summer runflat rears. All have 1/2 thread left. Im still desiding ether changing all with cheaper conti dws or just rears with matching pricy michelins

Thanx man! Yeah, body's the same...just those LCI upgrades show the difference(exterior), which could be retrofitted. I really love lci headlights, but price of fitting them is not reasonable. Yours is Msport?

Great looking X5! Doesn't hurt the previous owner already did some upgrades. It would fool me for not being a real M Sport. Are you planning on getting the M Sport steering wheel?

nop, unfortunately just 35i but my rear bumper looks the same, or maybe I'm missing something. Maybe next time I'm in Brooklyn (half of my family lives there) we can get for quick GTG. I got X5 5 weeks ago, this is my first BMW, all VW prior to that

I believe the M Sport steering wheel is thicker (correct me if I'm wrong here) and the look of it is a bit different also. Then you have the X5M steering wheel, which has the paddle shifts and also the lovely stitching.

Correct. M-Sport and M wheels are thicker and have Nappa leather wrapped around them which feels great.
