X5M with wrapped rear diffuser in matte black

Just thought I'd share a pic of my new X5M with matte black wrapped rear diffuser. Really cleans up the lines in my opinion. Now I'm looking into replacing the stock exhaust tips with larger single-wall pieces. Not a fan of the chrome but fine with the stock exhausts sound.

I have grilles, reflectors, etc on the way so I'll post another photo once installed.

Cheers!

Thanks! Same to you - I spent over an hour reading through your journal. What a great build.

I'm looking into those tips you have - I wonder if the 4" ones will fit...

Mine is done as well....horrible picture on my part but it certainly improves the look of the back end.

Can you post another picture with some details? I'm planning to do this with my AW X5M too.

Looks great!
If you don't mind me asking, can you post (or pm) how much you paid?
So I can get this done too?

It will look great, don't worry. My car is blue, but I have plenty of detailed pics in my journal if you are looking.

I think i paid $175 to get mine done, i had lots of stuff done at the same time and i never asked how much before i just said to do it. but i do think i saw $175 on the invoice.

Thanks for sharing. My local shop charges 100 no warranty (I don't think he uses 3m). So I wan wondering if that's ok deal or not.

This looks good. I'm going to have to checkout the lines to see if it would work on my 50i.

Edit, yeah that's a no

I am starting to make a little progress in the mod dept. I have some more working being done in the next few weeks. A little more go and a lot more show coming up.
