No response, ever. You should never have to FORCE any exhaust item into place that was made correctly. It should literally line right up and be good to go when both end sections are fixed.

The AA were great and fitment was spot on, they have a complete test engine in house and are built by hand. Overpriced to be honest but they fit and that's what you need.

Also no other brand of downpipe that I have researched suggests or requires you to remove the heatshields bolted to the block, they are there for good reason and deflecting as much heat away from there as possible. The top side (firewall) is optional depending on manufacturer from what I have gathered and the top shield is a must.

Having to force the downpipe on with pry bars isn't reasonable to begin with as there is plenty of room on the other side of each pipe to have ample fabrication room when being mocked up. My drivers side took a small amount of finesse to get in place, which was reasonable, and that was it. The passenger isn't even close as you can see in the photos. That shot is taken with the downpipe pressed all the way up to the block.

As I posted in the other, no way mine will fit. I. Forced the passenger side on, no chance on drivers side. Now. Keep in mind I am a 15 minute 5k runner, I worked so hard on forcing them that I have to lay down in exhaustion.

I never imagined they could be this far off.

They are a total miss on my X5M as far as fitment, not even close. Did an article on them in the X5 forum with pictures. VRSF did refund my money and took the DP's back.

RM racing makes really good ones at a competitive price (sub $500).

Only thing is you have to get bolts welded to the flanges, no big deal though. I had zero fitment issues.
