'07 X5 Fender Flare

Need help! Ok so bought after market fender flares, installation of front perfect, rear is giving me trouble. I have both the black plastic rivets and the off white fasteners. BUT the rear end keeps popping out.

Am I missing some kind of clips to push the end into, there's just hole in the rear side. Could be a poor design just not sure since there are no instructions and they didn't even come with the white fasteners so could be missing additional clips that attach to car? Anyone have this issue installing?

I had the same issue with some eBay sport pack wide flares. I ended up taking them off and tossing them in the garbage. After wards a suggestion was made to try a heat gun to re shape them to fit, might be worth a try here. Past that, buy OEM.

If you are careful and it isn't too cold when you do it you should be able to flex the locking portion of the tab back a bit to give it more bite.

You could use a heat gun but it would be touchy and I wouldn't want to add much heat or it might melt so a hairdryer might be a better choice if you try that method.

Over time mine bent into place.
