2008 E70 Glove box issue

on some occasions the glove box opens on its own and starts clicking until i close it... its like a ghost.. am i pressing some button on my key or dash to make it open?? i am not pressing the glove box open button.. should i wd40 it? any other ideas to make it stay closed??

My 2011 does the same, though only when over steadily bumpy pavement or large potholes. Don't know of a fix.

I have the brushed aluminum trim available for sale. If yours is brushed, it would come with the glove box door if you wanted a replacement.

i dont want a new glove box.. just trying to figure out how to keep it closed.. is the latch not catching??

Hey man, just offering trying to help... check the fuse for the glove box. There is an auto locking feature that may not be working. I've heard of the opposite where the glove box won't open, but worth a shot.
