2012 X5 M Sport Engine Malfunction reduced power
Got the dreaded warning. I did a search for hours.....
So the fan turns on about 2 minutes after driving, and I notice a loss of power. put the computer on it and it came back with the following codes P0103 MAF sensor no biggie, they always read that from what I've read. P0175 Bank 2 system to rich P0087 Fuel rail pressure to low. I did just change the crank shaft vent because of those cheap plastic hoses... any help would be great... |

So I believe that the turbos are not engaging or spooling up, would this cause the radiator fan to turn on full blast after only a 1 minute of running?

Double check all of your work, and anything that could have been connected up wrong or damaged when you replaced the CCV's. After this, you really need to get ISTA+ loaded on a laptop to run full diagnostics, otherwise its a guessing game....for example, lean code could be a bad 500 dollar High-Pressure Fuel pump, or pressure sensor or injectors.... As for oil on the back of the truck, valve stem seals normally dont leak enough to cause that type of buildup, however blocked turbo oil return lines will, forcing oil into the intake. If this happens you will burn a quart every few hundred miles or less. Happened to me. |
