My BMW X6M Stolen
Hello everyone,
I've been a member for a while but I haven't posted much. I'm the proud owner of a BMW X6M 2012, with FULL Lumma Body Kit, including parts from Russia. As well as Performance parts, such as Akrapovic Exhaust, ECU Upgrade, Filters. Well, I had the X6M in California doing some quick fixes to a couple of things, and I then hired a Transport company to pick it up and send it to Florida where I have my cars. Well, it's been a week past delivery date, no answers from either of the drivers (They're a couple, Husband and wife), owner of the transport company reported the car as stolen since Tuesday. They're trying to locate the truck and or car. I figured I'd post here in case anyone maybe sees something around... Here's some pictures! Thank you. And a video of it;

OP what is the transport company? Is the husband and wife perhaps a Jamaican couple by chance? Have you used them consistently through the years?
Do you have the BMW antitheft tracking system in it? Did they hijack the transporter and steal the keys? We're any other vehicles stolen? I only ask as we had a similar instance a few years back. Vehicle was recovered. |

Wow that blows. That car won't stay under the radar forever though, it will pop up. I hope for your sake it comes back in one piece.
Any hunches on where it disappeared? If you have a guess, I'd start posting that over every automotive forum in that area. BMW forums, Audi forums, 6Speedonline, VWVortex...every site you can think of with regional participation. Word spreads fast on nice cars, I've seen cars go missing and found within hours by another enthusiast in the Seattle area... |

Hello,
The Transport company is CSL Auto Transport, It's apparently a good company with good reputation. They transported a Nissan GTR no problems about 2 months ago for me as well. I actually payed EXTRA in order to get it faster. The Transport Truck was I think a single trailer. I'm not sure if the Couple are Jamaican, I've never even spoken to them... My father spoke to the woman, and she claimed to have bad signal the whole time. They said they would arrive at 1 AM on Saturday 7th, and then they stopped responding. Company owner hasn't had any info or news about this. Dealer said they might be able to track it down through the GPS the car has, it appears to be active still. Police are also tracking down Cell Phone numbers. I'll keep everyone updated!

Best bet is to get on the GPS before its disabled man. Sucks to hear about stuff like this, especially when the car is so damn beautiful! Good luck brother and hope it gets sorted out!

From what I understood from OP, is that the car was in "delivery process" which was enough time to disable the low jack and etc.

Apparently, BMW Will not try to locate my car UNTIL the Police gives them a Report that says the car has been Stolen.
We are working on that right now... Hoping we can get that soon... The reason the Police hasn't filed that report is because the Contract from the Transport company does NOT say that the car has to be delivered or was supposed to be delivered at certain date. They SAID the car would arrive before December 10th, but it wasn't written. So the Transport company is making a new contract so the Police can get this report and pass it to BMW so they can track it.... Giving them bastards more time...

Holy crap!
Sorry to hear that. That is horrible. Now I'm scared since I just shipped out my Porsche to Miami and from Miami to Bremerhaven. If the thieves had that much time, I assume they already removed the tracking devices. It is a bonus that your car is easy to spot. I hope everything works out for you. |
