Anyone Running Gloss Black Twin Slat Kidneys?

Going to be wrapping the M in the next 1-2 months so I'm beginning to gather some of the parts that are going to be changed out. I really want to find a good quality twin slat gloss black grill with matte slats. Reason being is I want to put the OEM X5 M plaque in the grill and it just don't look right with the single slat grill because of the spacing.

That being said is anyone running aftermarket twin slat kidneys and can attest to the quality? Always worried about ordering some Chinese knock off stuff from eBay and being disappointed in the quality. The F85 grill doesn't fit on the E70 M correct? If it did I would just go that route but that would just be too easy.

Boneca is running them. A couple other guys as well. I like how they look, have been tossing it around myself. What color are you wrapping?

I'm running Chinese knock offs for about 3 years now, great quality and fitment!

Good to know - thanks for the reply Boneca. I've purchased a lot of aesthetic upgrade parts from eBay in the past and some are great and others not so much. Good to know the grills fit well and are good quality!

Will do! Should be here in the next week or so and I'll install in April when doing the wrap. They cost more than double the price of what X5MAN posted from Amazon so hopefully they're worth it!!!

First, they do not come with a M badge.

Second, they do not fit an e70 X5M.

Received the grills today. They seem to be good quality and we're packaged nicely. Are they as sturdy feeling as the stock grill...no they aren't but I think they'll hold up. Will know about fitment in the next few weeks when I throw them on with the wrap.
