E70 EGR delete Race pipe question related to the EGR cooler
Before I get chewed out, I did extensive searching and could not find an answer.
I live in CO where the emissions testing is extensive, so every year or two I will need to revert the truck back to stock which leads me to my question. If I were to get an ERG delete race pipe, would I need to remove the EGR cooler as well (some race pipes I've seen come with plugs for the cooler)? If I didn't would there be any possible negative impacts? From what I've seen removing the cooler is much more labor intensive and I'd like to keep it as simple as possible for when I need to bring the truck in for emissions testing. Thanks! |

You can get plugs for the egr and leave the cooler in place. I used to have them. You will get an ses light. They are easy to install and remove.
