I don't think my 335i non-idrive has a USB slot, am I SOL on this option?

Not if you order it for March production. If it´s been built already well...

(But there´s always the iPod Interface)

March production vehicle owners are fortunate to have this as a factory installed option instead of the cumbersome AUX port and less interactive, dealer installed option.

Thanks for linking that article. I'm glad I had the chance to get that added to my car...which is in production this week. If it wasn't for people who posted about it in this forum....I would never have know it existed and spent much more money having the Dealer installed (less functionality) adapter installed.

You mean the sales bulletin ones? I think we´re using one of those in the Roundel. I wrote 2 completely different articles, 1 for the www.bmwcca.org and one for the Roundel.

It focused too much on the iPod and not enough on the USB storage devices. Was there an opportunity to actually test the new connector with a USB hdd or memory stick?

iwant one in my 335i without nav , no changer but $700 plus cost is detring. it is lease car so i dont want all money go back to dealer free..please advise
