New E70 Intakes

This thread is for the production of the new E70 ram air intakes. The 50i and M version are being produced first, with the 35i and 35d version to follow. All pre-orders will be completed and shipped by mid-October. If anyone else would like one please send a PM for more details.

This thread will have daily updates as production continues so check back here often if you are on the pre-order list.

Thanks everyone been a long time coming but happy to finally bring these out to the E70 community.

Worked through the entire weekend dialing in the new print heads as well as getting some new work holding setup on the mill.

We are now finally underway and the first parts are coming off both the printers and mill As you can see I am now milling out the lower supports out of 6061 to make them bullet proof(will be Anodized black) Will take me about two weeks to take care of all of the pre-orders then after that anyone else interested in and intake set PM me (if your new and can't PM just post in this thread and I will contact you).

Will post more in next day or so as more parts are completed.

I will also be giving a 30% off the catch-can kits to everyone who purchases a intake set that was not part of the original pre-orders (pre-order customers get them for free as show of gratitude for the many, many months of waiting).

Retail for the catch-can set (comes fully assembled) will be in the 250-300 range for the n63/s63 dual catch can setup with valve cover adapters, vacuum pressure regulators, full -10AN lines (Everything is machined from 6061, ZERO Plastic/hose clamps!).

I will come out with this kit in about a month, after all intake orders are filled and have time to produce some kits.

F02 version pictured below, E70 will be nearly identical with slightly different base mounts specific to the E70. Will be offered in various anodized colors and several different styles of caps.

Any possibilities for a darker blue, say maybe navy blue?

Speaking of the rubber couplers for the intake pipes

Question about the catch can kit... In your original prototyping posts, you modify a check valve spring and tap a gauge into the oil cap to get a specific pressure value to prevent front seal/crankcase pressure issues. Does this kit come with a built-in provision to resolve this issue as well? Or is that left for the end consumer to design/modify? They definitely look beautiful compared to your original Amazon design! Lol...

I believe you will still have to drill the hole in the oil cap and connect the mechanical vacuum gauge. This is so you can measure the negative pressure (vacuum) in the crankcase. Remember from previous posts, it can't be less than -10. The happy spot is around -8 vacuum on idle.

Instead of drilling into the oil cap, maybe you can drill into the oil filler neck. I might attempt this.

I haven’t heard from the manufacturer in a while and I sent him two PMs. I really hope this is not dead, I was really looking forward to the catch cans more than the intake.

Would definitely love to hear some updates on this as I was super hopeful to get both the intakes and the catch cans.

After all this person has done for the community (long time lurker here), I'm sure many people were looking forward to spending some money with them. However looks like last forum activity was quite some time ago...
