Thanks! Power is amazing for a heavy beast like the X5d.

I am having walnut blasting done in Seattle at DUDMD next month. The local BMW specialist indy shop charges $3000 CAD for walnut blasting up here

Luckily we don't have emissions testing in BC any longer. I wish I could afford hybrid turbos as I would love to have the stage 4 tune!

I was wondering if you would mind sharing how much this all cost you in parts and labour, and please PM me if you wish.

I just bought a X5D in Calgary and plan on performing all of the same services before december as I plan on heading for Mexico. So any tips or anything you would have done differently would be appreciated!

Since they are powder coated there's no paint code. I went with a super dark gunmetal finish

Deleting the x5d is not fun. you have to drop the subframe to get the stock DPF out. Let me know if you have any other specific questions

That's going to happen regardless of weather sealing anywhere. 4/5/6 fail eventually no matter what.

Great looking ride either way congrats on the upgrades.

May I suggest saving up now for a new intake hose from the intercooler to the manifold and also just start buying injectors when you can find them for cheap. Next time another one goes (because it will) just do all 5 or 6 (whatever is left) all at once. That way you wont have to worry about it for another 100k or so. Plus then you only have to purge the fuel system once and starve the HPFP for a few seconds one time instead of multiple times.

Under throttle, you still hear that whistle with the DOC? Also, do you have the stock mufflers still in place?

I love the way this thing sounds! I'm not familiar with the diesels, what is all that buildup on the parts in the picture posted? Was that something for emissions that was deleted?
